Who we are

Melissa:

I'll be 25 this year, and I teach high school English in Northwest Ohio.  I grew up in Northeast Ohio, which is where the majority of my family lives.  I'm very close to my family, and they raised me to be a strong Christian woman.  I love painting, reading, and cooking when I'm not busy grading papers or writing lesson plans.  I can't wait to be a wife and mom, and look forward to what God brings my way in the next few years.  I'm starting to pursue my Master's degree this year in special education, and am so excited to start this new path in my career.  I have the most amazing friends, supportive family, and loving future husband.

Opha:
I'm finishing up my bachelor's degree at BGSU in biology, specifically studying reptiles.  I turn 27 this year, but I'm still a kid at heart.  I'm originally from the Cleveland area, about an hour away from Melissa's family, but I plan on spending my future moving around the country and possibly the world--wherever the Army takes me.  This year, I'll be swearing into the Army, but I won't leave for basic training until early 2012 after I graduate.  My end goal is to be working in the US Special Forces, but we'll see what God has in store.  In the mean time, I keep busy with school, video games, and my fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon.  2011 should be an interesting year for me.
